Arabic language education in Indonesia began with the spread of Islam in the 13th century, and one of the main objectives of teaching this language is to develop students' abilities to use Arabic, both orally and in writing. However, this process is full of challenges and is not straightforward. This research identifies various problems that arise in kitabah learning, such as difficulties in understanding Arabic grammar, vocabulary, and sentence structures. Additionally, the lack of adequate media and learning resources is a significant barrier. This study employs a qualitative method with a case study approach at SMP IT Ash-Sholihin. The results indicate that there is a need for improvements in teaching methods and the provision of better facilities and learning resources to support the kitabah learning process. Consequently, it is hoped that students' Arabic writing skills can be significantly improved.
2024-07-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 M. This language is fundamental for facilitating understanding of the holy scriptures and the Prophet's traditions. The role of Arabic is vital in the daily lives of Muslims, such as in prayer and supplication. In Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), Arabic language flourishes, is considered special, and possesses distinct characteristics compared to other languages. This study highlights the importance of Arabic proficiency as a foundation for delving deeper into religious teachings with greater focus and shaping the identity of students (santri). Research employs the method of library research with techniques of content analysis and constant comparative analysis. Good Islamic education, both formal and informal, imparts religious knowledge based on the Quran and Hadith, facilitating the formation of strong morals and faith. Arabic, as an international language and the language of the Quran, is taught in various schools and madrasahs to achieve basic language competence, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Methods for learning Arabic are divided into traditional/classical and modern approaches, each emphasizing communication within cultural contexts and practical everyday skills. In Islamic education, Arabic language holds an urgent role as the primary source of religious teachings. Scholars like Dr. Muhammad Saed Abdul Rahman, Dr. Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi, and Prof. Mustansir Mir emphasize that Arabic is not just a means of communication but also a key to deepening understanding of Islam, preserving its intellectual and spiritual heritage.
2024-07-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Ayu Sekarsari, Addin Abdillah, Anisa Eka Putri Aulia, Afifa Mawada https://quality.pdfaii.or.id/index.php/i/article/view/72 The Role of Social Media in the Evolution of the Arabic Language Among the Younger Generation 2024-06-30T16:24:02+00:00 Muhammad Fadhil Uzmi Muhammaduzmi04@gmail.com Muhammad Miftah Al-Khalili Muhammadmiftah344@gmail.com Muhammad Rifqi Fauzi Muhammadrifqifauzi1414@gmail.com Sahkholid Nasution sahkholidnasution@uinsu.ac.id
This research explores the role of social media in modern society and its impact on communication, especially in learning Arabic and the evolution of Arabic language structure. Social media functions as an effective and easy-to-use communication tool, enabling the wide dissemination of news and information. According to Andreas K. & Michel H., social media enables the creation and exchange of user-generated content, in various forms such as social networks, virtual game worlds, and forum services. Advances in technology and information have expanded internet access, especially among the younger generation, which has the potential to provide positive benefits in interacting and learning. However, social media use also carries risks such as crime and violence. Therefore, it is important to use social media wisely and responsibly. This research uses library research methods with constant comparative and content analysis techniques to collect and analyze data from various relevant literature. In learning Arabic, audio media is an important tool that conveys messages through sound, both orally and in writing. Animation-based audio media can increase motivation and enthusiasm for learning. In addition, this research also highlights changes in the structure of the Arabic language from Fusha to Amiyyah, which are influenced by foreign languages and practical adaptations in everyday communication. Egyptian Arabic (Amiyyah) exhibits distinct phonological characteristics, such as terminating final vowels and weakening of the article "al" at the beginning of words. Overall, this research emphasizes the importance of audio media in Arabic language learning and identifies changes in the structure of the Arabic language due to external influences and practical communication needs. These findings provide insight into language adaptation in modern contexts and the role of technology in language education.
2024-07-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 Muhammad Fadhil Uzmi, Muhammad Miftah Al-Khalili, Muhammad Rifqi Fauzi, Sahkholid Nasution https://quality.pdfaii.or.id/index.php/i/article/view/83 Analysis of Guidance and Counseling Programs in High School 2024-07-18T04:13:02+00:00 Rike Wulandari rikewulandari05@gmail.com Firman firman@fip.unp.ac.id Neviyarni S neviyarni@konselor.org
The guidance and counseling service program is an integrated part of the overall educational program at school. Therefore, the efforts of supervising teachers and the various aspects covered by the program are an inseparable part of all activities directed towards achieving educational goals at the institution concerned. To achieve this maturity, students need help because they still lack understanding or insight about themselves and their environment as well as experience in determining the direction of their lives. This research uses a literature review method where researchers conduct a series of research involving various kinds of information originating from literature such as books, documents, Google Scholar and so on. As a result of this research, this program aims to facilitate students in getting to know themselves and their environment positively, making responsible decisions, as well as developing their potential and achieving their developmental tasks. The BK program is structured based on student needs assessment, school needs, community demands, and student development tasks.
